operates a new graduate study program in robotics called Embedded Robotics. |
Social robot FLASHHas been developed at Wrocław University of Science and Technology during FP7 European LIREC Project. Served as an integration platform for diverse robotic technologies. FLASH was designed and constructed in cooperation with Produkt Dizajn Studio, TF Construction, and Cad-Mech. This is a fully open source software and hardware project! The design and documentation of all hardware and software is licensed under the Free Software Foundation GNU licences so that the system can be freely replicated and customized. |

Robotic Head EMYSAn expressive robotic head, although consists of only three discs, EMYS can express basic facial expressions, including happiness, sadness, surprise, anger, weariness, and disgust. Part of the robot FLASH. One of EMYS' most important features is the ability to operate separately from the body as a standalone robot. |

Robotic head SAMUELConstructed by the members of the Student Interest Group KoNar in cooperation with Wrocław Academy of Art and Design. The robot's voice was provided by an actor from the Wrocław Capitol Theatre. Samuel was meant to be an entertainment robot created for the celebration of the centenary of the creation of the university. The robot greeted guests at the commemorative Rector's Ball. |

Robotic Head ROMANAnthropomorphic robotic head Roman, developed by the Student Interest Group KoNar was a prototype of the Samuel head. Roman is used as the mascot of the university. |
